In-Kind Donations
Furniture Need
Help us make our newest Welcome Center a hospitable place for loving refugees and immigrants in their own neighborhood! Do you have any “cozy” furniture (e.g. couch, loveseat, side table, small bookcase, lamp, etc.) that could be utilized in this way? Email Matt at mattr@refugeintl.org with a photo of any possible item(s). Thank you for partnering with us!
Unaccepted Items
Due to our decentralized nature…
With most of our ministry taking place within homes and churches, we are unable to accept most in-kind donations due to our inability to store them.
Generally unaccepted items include:
Clothing
Food
Individual kitchen items
Toys
We are happy to direct folks with these types of donations to Walnut Street Baptist Church’s Community Ministries which includes food distribution, a clothes closet, and infant resources. This pantry has been a tremendous blessing especially to Afghan and Ukrainian refugees.
Accepted Items
However,
We are always able to accept:

And occasionally, we are also able to accept the following items when it has been brought to our attention that a specific refugee or refugee family is currently in need of them:
Kitchen sets
Bed frames
Dressers
Tables and Chairs
Sofas
Entertainment stands
TVs
Gently used linens
If you are interested in donating one of these items, please email liz@refugeintl.org with:

In-Kind Acknowledgement Letters are available upon request. Please include the estimated value of your item(s).
