Throughout the internet there are plenty of advertisements for those touting expertise in getting government grants. Then they sub-divide that into very specific demographics like grants for women or grants for minorities. The unfortunate truth about grants is that no specialized expertise should be needed to get them, other than writing the proposal. That is why there are grant writers, but notice grant writers do not advertise on the internet saying “that free money is available out there for anyone who wants it.” What do grant writers know that you do not?
