Dr. Paul Tartell is an experienced Otolaryngologist – Head and Neck Surgeon, and, Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon who has decades of experience in his chosen field of specialization. He also co-founded the South Florida Sinus and Allergy Center where he uses the most advanced medical techniques to diagnose and treat various sinus and allergy related problems. He has successfully treated thousands of satisfied patients in the course of his career. He is also member of the CCFA’s National Board of Trustees and has taken an active interest in pursuing various developments related to ultimately finding a cure for IBD. The Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation of America provides support for those living with Crohn’s disease and the entire constellation of inflammatory bowel diseases.
Dr. Paul Tartell has earned numerous awards and distinctions and is a Diplomate of both the American Board of Otolaryngology and The American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. Paul Tartell MD has also been awarded the status of “Top Doctor” as well as being recognized as one of “America’s Top Physicians”. Some of the prestigious posts he has held over the years have been Assistant Professor of Surgery, Department of Surgery and Division of Otolaryngology, at the Tufts University School of Medicine and the New England Medical Center, where he was Director of Head and Neck Surgery, Director of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Co-Director of Pediatric Otolaryngology at the Boston Floating Hospital for Children. He is also a founding Governor of the Weston Outpatient Surgical Center.
A talented and dedicated individual since his pre-college years, he was one of the only ten worldwide candidates who were accepted out of high school into the inaugural class of the Scholar’s Program in Medicine at Washington University in St. Louis. Currently, Paul Tartell MD treats patients at the South Florida Sinus and Allergy Center and is also a team physician for the Florida Panthers NHL hockey club, as well an official laryngologist (voice doctor) for the Bank Atlantic Center. His research work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals and he has been an invited lecturer at various national and international medical specialty meetings. He also maintains fellowship and membership status in numerous professional societies and organizations.
