Six months ago when I was jobless I often asked myself this question: can I qualify for government grants just to handle my daily expenses? Out of curiosity I turned to the internet to get a answer for my query. That’s when I found out that anyone can apply for grants. So if you too are on the fence as to whether you can qualify for government grants or not, then go ahead and apply for as many grants as you can, so that you can increase your chances of getting grants.

Another thing which people are confused about while applying for government grants is there credit score. Let me tell you straight I have a very bad credit score, in spite of that I qualified and received government grants. Why? Because your credit score does not affect your grant application.
It took me 3 weeks to receive the money. So make sure you apply as soon as possible. Also apply for grants from various grant sources to make sure you receive at least one grant.
What do you need to qualify for grants?
- Just have a clear purpose for obtaining grants like grants to buy a house,grants for small businesses,grants for school.
- Apply to appropriate grant source.
- You should be a legal adult that is above 18 years of age.
- An application clearly stating the purpose of grants.
So to answer the question in brief yes you can qualify for grants as long as you are ready to fill in the government grant application.
